Yarrik

Yarrik was once an assassin of the Shattered Veil, trained to end bloodlines before they could become empires. In 763 R.C., he entered the Imperial Citadel and killed Marcus III, ending the One-Day Empire before its reign had truly begun.

His loyalty to Sylvara carried him beyond the assassination and into exile, where the two pursued secrets buried beneath the earliest Rune Cycles. Yarrik became a keeper of dangerous knowledge, familiar with ancient hunters, forbidden relics and the powers concealed within the runes.

After falling beneath Kraal’s influence, Yarrik was remade as a Sangraal Inquisitor. At this point in the chronicles, he still carries Umbreath—the Rune of Shadow—and bears its power into the Deep Roads. What remains behind the mask is uncertain: the assassin he once was, the man Sylvara trusted, or something shaped entirely by shadow.
