Sultan Jamal II

Sultan Jamal II rules Al-Quazzar from the Sand Throne in Zaharraq. He inherited a realm built around rivers, desert fortresses and trade routes that have outlived generations of conquerors.

Jamal understands that Al-Quazzar cannot wait for the Varian armies to reach its borders. He authorizes the Al-Quazzari Expeditionary Force and entrusts its command to his heir, Prince Ribius, committing the Sultanate to the wider Defence of the Free World.

Age has made Jamal deliberate rather than timid. He weighs the survival of his dynasty against the survival of every free throne beyond Einheart—and knows that one may be impossible without the other.
