Rowan Blackthorne

Rowan Blackthorne is Cedric Blackthorne’s eldest son and the heir expected to carry their house beyond the wars that defined his father. Where Cedric’s authority was forged in command, Rowan’s strength lies in patience, diplomacy and the ability to hear what a court refuses to say aloud.

He stands beside Lady Isolde as House Blackthorne is drawn ever closer to the centre of Avalosian power. Their union gives Rowan something rare among the great houses: a partner who understands both the burden of his name and the ambitions surrounding it.

Rowan is neither Elra’s battlefield legend nor Leon’s scholar of forbidden histories. He is the bridge between them—the son tasked with preserving a family whose duty to the realm has already demanded nearly everything.

“A house does not endure through blood alone. It endures through what its heirs refuse to betray.”
