Leon Blackthorne

At sixteen, Leon Blackthorne has spent most of his life beneath the shadow of his father, Cedric Blackthorne. Quiet, observant and more comfortable among maps and forgotten texts than soldiers, Leon possesses a curiosity that others often mistake for weakness.

While kingdoms prepare for war, Leon studies the older forces beneath it. Ancient histories lead him toward the Seven Runes, the relics carried by their first bearers and the mysterious Equinox Stone—an artifact said to hold power over time itself.

Leon has never commanded an army or worn a crown. Yet in an age built upon forgotten history, what he discovers may prove more valuable than either.

“The oldest histories are not dead. They are waiting.”
