Veythar

Veythar is a Sangraal Inquisitor and bearer of the Stone of Gorrundur, the ancient Earth Rune taken into imperial hands after the fall of Dur’Marhahl. Beneath his mask, little remains that the dwarves can name as human.

He oversees the occupation of the mountain realm, watching both its Varian governors and the surviving dwarven holds. Where imperial officers demand submission, Veythar searches deeper—for sealed roads, forgotten vaults and anything the old kings buried beyond the reach of conquerors.

The Stone answers him through weight, pressure and the slow violence of the earth itself. Veythar does not hurry his work. Mountains have taught him that everything breaks when enough force is applied for long enough.

“Stone remembers every kingdom built upon it—and every kingdom buried beneath.”
