Harl Kesamar

Harl Kesamar is the Imperial Governor of occupied Dur’Marahl and acting field marshal of the 5th Army. His long pendant marks an office created to place the conquered mountain realm under a single military and civil authority.

Kesamar governs a territory that refuses to behave like conquered land. Dwarven tunnels turn supply routes into ambushes, sealed workshops reopen behind imperial lines, and every decree must travel through halls built to outlast empires.

Rigid in posture and method, he believes occupation can succeed through discipline, registration and the slow replacement of dwarven institutions with imperial ones.

“Stone remembers nothing once the new name is carved deeply enough.”
