Halrik Strahl

General Halrik Strahl is one of the Seventh Imperium’s finest field commanders, a soldier whose reputation was earned through movement, preparation and an uncanny ability to recognise the decisive ground before anyone else.

At Prince Matthias Morvaak’s side, he commands the First Imperial Rifle Division. Strahl is loyal to Varia, but he has little patience for cruelty disguised as necessity. He expects discipline from his soldiers and accepts responsibility for the lives spent under his orders.

His enemies respect him because he does not waste men for spectacle or victory for pride. Halrik fights to win quickly, break an opposing army’s position and leave civilians outside the battle whenever war still allows that choice.

“The finest victory is the one that leaves enough soldiers alive to understand why it mattered.”
