Gideon Felwin

Master Gideon Felwin is the Master of Texts in the Ebionspire Library, where histories too old, dangerous or politically inconvenient for ordinary archives are placed under his care.

Gideon treats books as witnesses. He compares damaged chronicles, forbidden translations and the deliberate absences left by fallen empires, searching for the shape of events that official histories were written to conceal.

Age has made him cautious, not obedient. When the past begins appearing in the present, Gideon understands that preserving knowledge may require allowing the right person to read what every ruler ordered sealed.

“A burned page still tells you what someone was afraid to let survive.”
