Cedric Blackthorne

Cedric Blackthorne is Lord Protector of Avalos, Regent of the Ardent Throne and patriarch of House Blackthorne. A veteran commander shaped by decades of war, Cedric values duty above ambition and loyalty above blood.

Following the death of King Edward IV, he became guardian of the young Prince Aldric and the last barrier between Avalos and those seeking to seize its throne. To his allies, Cedric is the shield of the Western Kingdoms. To his enemies, he is the old wolf who refuses to die.

“No Sovereign kneels before me.”
